IT’S GREAT TO BE OPEN AGAIN
It’s been a long few months, and we are by no means returning to total normality just yet but it is great to finally be able to be open in a more normal capacity.
Whilst we are are still available to support patients remotely, we are now able to see any patient in need of treatment face to face, except for those who have been told to self isolate (either due to being in the highly vulnerable/shielded group or due to recent exposure to with someone with coronavirus).
Clive and Liz are both keeping well and would desperately love to return but sadly are unable to just yet, we don’t currently have a date for them returning to practice but they will be back as soon as is possible. Lou, our counsellor is also continuing to work remotely for the time being.
We are very aware that the risks from coronavirus have not gone away, and are taking as many precautions as possible in order to keep both our staff and our patients safe. Consequently, things are still a bit different to normal here.
Some of the measures we are taking include only accepting patients who are Covid-19 symptom free, social distancing within the practice where possible, extra cleaning and infection control measures and use of PPE. Osteopath’s are wearing masks during treatments and we are also asking patients to wear a mask (if you don’t have your own, we will provide one for you). Despite all this, we realise we can never completely eliminate the risks and there is a small element of shared risk to any face to face consultation.
Lastly, I’d just like to say a big thank you to all our team who have worked really hard to keep in touch and support all our patients, and not least to all our lovely patients for all their understanding during this difficult time. We’ve all genuinely missed coming to work, and seeing you all and are looking forward to seeing everyone again.
